VIRTUAL REGULAR (INFORMATIONAL) MEMBERSHIP MEETING

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2020 @ 7:30 P.M.

 

ILWU Local 13 will host the fourth virtual Regular (Informational) Membership Meeting on Thursday, November 5, 2020 @ 7:30 p.m.   

 

Here is what you need to know:

 

  1. This meeting is considered a Regular Membership Meeting and only Class A members will be able to view. 

 

  1. In order to participate in the meeting, you need to have login access to the Dues Web Portal to attend virtually. If you have not used the Dues Portal, instructions are included on the other side of this page. 

 

  1. Once you log in to the Dues Portal you will see a link that appears by your name “Click here for November Meeting Passcode 131934” Write down or remember the passcode since you will need that to access the meeting.

 

  1. On the next screen will ask for your name.  Please type your name and click next.  There is a link that asks to register for Lifesize Inc, please do not click or use that link.

 

  1. The next screen it will ask you to enter a passcode.  Enter passcode 131934 and click Next.

 

  1. You will automatically be placed into the meeting.

 

  1. This meeting is an information meeting ONLY.  No minutes will be read and no motions and actions will be accepted. 

 

FAQ:

  1. Is this a mandatory meeting and will I be charged a fine?  

At this time this meeting is not considered mandatory and you will not be charged a missed meeting fine.

 

  1. Will all of our meetings be virtual?  

NO, we are conducting this meeting virtually until we are given permission and it is safe to conduct our meetings as customary. 

 

  1. Can I submit a question for the Officers during the meeting?    

NO, this is an informational meeting, but you may submit a question for the officers at ilwulocal13@ilwu13.org. 

Please include your name and work number with a brief question and they will be submitted to that officer.

Online Payments

 

In order to comply with current state mandated protocols related to large gatherings and temporary closure of businesses, Local 13 will close their offices and staff will be working remotely.

 

The Local has created a portal 

https://ilwu13portal.membership.winmill.net/

 

This portal can also be accessed through the website ilwu13.com on main page click on “Dues Portal”

 

In order to be able to have access to the portal you must have an email on file with Local 13. (If you need to change an email address or add one contact the dues office 310.830.1130 ext. 118 or 126)

 

  1. Click on the portal link https://ilwu13portal.membership.winmill.net/

  2. You will need to click “Request Access”

  3. You will enter all your information on next screen: Member ID, Last Name, Birth Date, Last 4 digits of SSN, and email. 

  4. Click “Request Credentials”

 

You will receive a user name and password via email and then you can log back into the portal and you will be able to make online payments for dues, fines and assessments through this link or ilwu13.com website for easier access. 

 

We are working through tough times right now, and this is all new to everyone so we thank you ALL for your patience as we continue to try and serve the membership as best as we could during this pandemic.
