STOP WORK MEETING

LOCAL 13 OFFICE CLOSED
The Office will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, Thursday, July 5, 2018 and Friday, July 6, 2018 in observance of Independence Day Holiday & Bloody Thursday.
DOUBLE BACK FOR MONTH OF JULY
Double back for the month of July 2018 will be extended until Thursday, July 12, 2018 @ 4:30 p.m. at Local 13 Dues Office.
JULY 4TH & 5TH 2018 HOLIDAYS
Wednesday, July 4, 2018 will be a paid holiday. Only registered persons who have 800 qualifying hours in the prior payroll year (2017) and meet the availability requirements for at least two of the five days Monday through Friday (exclusive of the holiday) during the payroll week in which the holiday falls will receive the paid holiday for July 4, 2018.
This means you must work or be available for two days, Monday, July 2nd; Tuesday, July 3rd; and Friday, July 6, 2018.
Under the current contract one does not have to meet the availability requirement if you worked 1300 hours or more in the prior payroll year (2017) to receive July 4, 2018 holiday pay.
Thursday, July 5, 2018 Bloody Thursday under the current contract is still a holiday, but not a paid holiday. All work performed on Thursday, July 5, 2018 will be at the overtime rate.
Persons taking a vacation during the holiday week must report the vacation to the Records Clerk in the Dispatch Hall on or before Friday, July 6, 2018.
Persons not receiving holiday pay because of illness, injury, jury duty, etc., must file a claim with the Records Clerk on or before Friday, August 17, 2018.
The July 4, 2018 holiday will be paid on the payroll check issued on Friday, July 13, 2018.
EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING – JULY 12, 2018
TIME CHANGE
Due to the scheduling of a Regular Membership Meeting on July 12, 2018, the Executive Board Meeting scheduled that evening for 6:30 p.m. has been changed to 12:30 p.m.
