NOMINATION NOTIFICATION
In accordance with the Constitution and By-Laws, Article IV, Nominations of Officers, Section 1, Sub-Section (a), nominations for all of the below mentioned offices “shall be open from the day of the last regular meeting of the Local in February to thirty-six (36) hours after the first regular meeting in March of each year.” Nomination papers shall be submitted to ILWU Local 13, 630 S. Centre Street, San Pedro, CA 90731, before the 10:00 a.m. deadline on Saturday, March 9, 2019.
ELIGIBILITY TO RUN FOR OFFICE
In accordance with the Constitution and By-Laws, Article IV, Nomination of Officers, Section 1, Sub-Section (f) and Article XI, Dues, Fines and Assessments, Section 1, Sub-Section (b). For a member to be considered in good standing, they shall have their dues, fines, and assessments paid in full every month, for twelve consecutive months prior to picking up a nomination form. No nomination form shall be issued to the member if this criteria has not been met.

ILWU LOCAL 13 – 2019 SPRING ELECTION
An election for the office of President (1), Vice-President (1), Labor Relations Representative (1), Day Business Agent (1), Night Business Agent (1), Trustee (2), Day Dispatchers (5), Day Flex Dispatcher (1), Casual Hall Dispatcher (1), Chairman of Stewards (1), Casual Hall Sgt-At-Arms (1), Publicity Committee (3), and Grievance Committee (10) will take place at the date, time and place indicated below.
Date: March 12th, 13th, and 14th, 2019
Time: 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

PROPOSED CONSTITUTIONAL BY-LAWS GENERAL RULES CHANGE ELECTION
At the August 2, 2018 Stop Work Meeting, the following motion was carried: M/ S/C: To change the Constitution General Rules, Item #1 voting fine from $2.00 to $10.00.” A second reading was read and accepted by the membership at the November 1, 2018 Stop Work Meeting.
General Rules, Item #1:
All members are required to vote at all elections, regular or special, where voting is for two days or more, or be fined two dollars ($2.00) for failure to do so, except sick or injured members and all members out of town, who have cleared with the Secretary/Treasurer.
Proposed change to read:
All members are required to vote at all elections, regular or special, where voting is for two days or more, or be fined ten dollars ($10.00) for failure to do so, except sick or injured members and all members out of town, who have cleared with the Secretary/Treasurer.
The proposed constitutional changes will be placed on the 2019 Spring run-off ballot along with the office(s) for the Membership Committee (16), Political Action Committee (6), Executive Board (25) and other office(s) in the run-off(s). The proposed constitutional changes and run-off(s) will take place as indicated below:

ILWU/PMA ALCOHOLISM DRUG RECOVERY PROGRAM
(ADRP) BINGO NIGHT
The ILWU/PMA ADPR will host a Bingo Night on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Michael’s Tuscany Room, 470 W. 7th Street, San Pedro at 6:30 p.m. Each ticket is $35.00 per person (includes dinner/and bingo card). Raffle tickets are available now for $1.00 each or 15 for $10.00 (winners need not be present).
