CHANGES FROM PREVIOUS BULLETIN REGARDING
VIRTUAL STOP WORK MEETING
THURSDAY, JANUARY 13, 2022 @ 7:00 P.M.
Due to the recent spike in COVID, the Stop Work Meeting scheduled for Thursday, January 13, 2022 @ 7:00 p.m. will be held 100% virtually via ZOOM.
The items on the agenda will also include the approval of the 2022 Budget and Caucus Resolutions for the 2022 Contract Caucus (approximately 60 resolutions).

How do I log on to the ZOOM meeting?
For Class A members to attend, a link will be placed in the Dues Portal 30 minutes before the meeting starts.

How do I log on to the Dues Web Portal?
You need to have a login access to the Dues Web Portal to attend via ZOOM. If you have not used the Dues Portal, instructions are included on the other side of this page. We suggest you sign up tomorrow morning in case you have questions while staff is available to answer. Once you log in to the Dues Portal you will see a link that appears by your name, click on the link to attend the January Stop Work Meeting and that will bring up the ZOOM link. If this is your first time logging on to ZOOM, a browser message will appear “open ZOOM meeting” click the open ZOOM meeting. If you already have ZOOM, you will automatically be placed into the into the meeting.

How will I be able to speak on a motion via ZOOM?
If you would like to address the membership, you must be on video. We will not accept phone calls or a blank screen to speak. You will be placed in order using the “raise hand” feature. You will have two minutes to address the membership.

How will I be able to vote?
When it comes time to vote, you will be asked to vote “yes” or “no” using “raise hand” feature.

Will I be fined for a missed meeting for January 2022?
No. Due to the circumstances, you will not be fined for a missed meeting.

Will Class B’s be able to view the virtual meeting?
No. Per the ILWU Local 13 Constitution, meetings are for Class A members only.

The Local has created a portal

This portal can also be accessed through the website at ilwu13.com. Once on the main page click on “Dues Portal”
In order to be able to have access to the portal you must have an email on file with Local 13. (If you need to change an email address or add one, contact the dues office 310.830.1130 ext. 1180 or 1260)

Click on the portal link https://ilwu13portal.membership.winmill.net/

You will need to click “Request Access”

You will enter all your information on next screen: Member ID, Last Name, Birth Date, Last 4 digits of SSN, and email.

Click “Request Credentials”
You will receive a user name and password via email and then you can log back into the portal you will also have access to make online payments for dues, fines and assessments through this link or ilwu13.com website for easier access.
