STOP WORK MEETING

APRIL 8, 2021 @ 7:00 P.M.

 

ILWU Local 13 will be having a Stop Work Meeting on Thursday, April 8, 2021 @ 7:00 p.m.  The meeting will take place at the Dignity Health Sports Park, 18400 Avalon Blvd., Carson, CA 90745.  

 

If you have been elected to an Office or Committee in the Spring Election, or being elevated to Class A, please be present so you can be sworn in. 

 

Please adhere to the following rules:

  • Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. for check in.
  • Dignity Health Sports Park requires masks and social distancing throughout the entire meeting. 
  • If you miss this meeting, you will be charged for a missed meeting. 
  • The concession stands will be open with debit/credit only.  They will not accept cash. 
  • The meeting will be outdoors, so please dress accordingly. 

 

VACCINATION UPDATE

 

Approximately 17,000 vaccines have been made available to the ILWU since February 12, 2021 with the cooperation from the Governor’s office, City of Long Beach, Port of Long Beach, City of Los Angeles, Port of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, Pacific Maritime Association, Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles Port Police.  

ATTENTION ALL CLASS B’S

 

Please make note of the following changes listed below:

 

Saturday, April 17, 2021 you will be dispatched out of the Dispatch Hall at 1500 E. Anaheim Street, Wilmington, 90744.  Social distancing and masks will still be required.

 

CONTAINER GANGS

 

Friday, April 16, 2021 is the last day Container Gangs will be dispatched.

 

There will be no more bi-monthly jobs ordered. 

 

ATTENTION ALL CASUALS

 

Please make note of the following changes listed below:

Saturday, April 17, 2021 you will be dispatched out of the Dispatch Hall at 343 N. Broad Avenue, Wilmington, 90744.  You will no longer be dispatched out of the ILWU Memorial Hall. Social distancing and masks will still be required.
