VINCENT THOMAS BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION CLOSURE

IMPORTANT UPCOMING MEETINGS

Beginning in Fall of 2025, Caltrans will partially or fully close the Vincent Thomas Bridge for necessary repairs. In order to get community feedback that will help in their decision-making process, Caltrans is hosting two, in person, public hearings in the next three weeks. During the meetings, all the pertinent details concerning the bridge project, detour routes in Wilmington, San Pedro and Long Beach, and other traffic impacts will be discussed. This is your chance as rank-and-file ILWU members and community members to have your voice heard by the decision makers of this process. 

PLEASE TRY TO ATTEND ONE OF THESE MEETINGS IF YOUR SCHEDULE PERMITS!
