CY ADDENDA IMPLEMENTATION

Effective Saturday, September 30, 2023

Changes to the CY BOARDS shall be as follows:

 

  • The “CY Board” has been renamed the “Primary CY Board“.

 

  • The Secondary CY Board is only for those newly trained individuals who have completed their 5-year obligation on the B-UTR Board.

 

  • The Primary CY Board & Secondary CY Board are “make-whole” boards (Monday-Friday).

 

  • The Supplemental CY Board is for all CY-certified individuals who have not completed their 5-year obligation on the B-UTR Board.

 

  • The order of dispatch for CY jobs shall be:

  • Primary CY Board

  • Secondary CY Board

  • Supplemental CY Board

  • Low Boards (all CY jobs dispatched during “low board” rotation shall be “one day only”)

 

  • All new CY Board orders designated for the vessel shall be flop jobs.

 

  • The Supplemental CY Board shall NOT be utilized as a “low board” for any other jobs.

Individuals on the Supplemental CY Board MUST check-in on both the Supplemental CY Board AND the B-UTR Board: 

  • For the B-UTR Board, you shall continue to check-in on ALL HOURS worked & paid, including all CY and flop hours.

  • For the Supplemental CY Board, you shall check in on all CY HOURS worked & paid ONLY.

  • When checking-in on the B-UTR Board, do not hang up! Follow the voice prompts to check-in on the Supplemental CY Board.

  • Any individual checked-in on the Supplemental CY Board who passes up a CY job shall FLOP on BOTH the Supplemental CY & B-UTR Boards, regardless of the B-UTR flop line.

  • There shall be no Average on the Supplemental CY Board. 

  • For the purpose of implementing the Supplemental CY Board, all eligible individuals will be checked-in on ZERO hours for Saturday, September 30th. After Saturday, all dispatch rules shall apply for the beginning of the month (October 1st).
