PENSION INCREASE
Normal Retirement – Qualifying Year vs. Good Year
- 800 – 1300 hours – Qualifying Year
- 1300 hours and above – A good Year
- For pension years only – all credited hours count (i.e. work, vacation, holiday, Pay Guarantee Payments, Workers’ Compensation, California State Disability)
Normal Retirement Pension Calculations:
- 800 hours (Basic Pension) (800\1300) x 200* = $123.08
- 1300 hours (Maximum Credited Hours) (1300\1300) x 200*=$200.00
- Total Pension = Total Credited Years x Current Rate Per Contract
*200 Dollars per good year through 06/30/2019
